Ive been looking around and can't seem to find any good cheap blank DVD's that will work with my TiBook 1GHz SD.

The only ones I see are Apple's and well, they are a bit expensive for how many you get.

Does anyone know of such a blank DVD?

All I've found that I can buy at my local computer shop was some cheap HP ones. They worked like crap, 3/5 burns didnt work.

The Apple ones are the best I've tried.

The ones that worked well for me (incl. at 2X) are 4X non-branded LG and branded Mitsui 2X, Pioneer 2X, and Apple 2X.

I've been using the LGs lately, because they're cheaper than the Apple ones.

4X Ritek and 4X Princo are utter crap, even at 1X.

the staples hosuie brand.. spool of 10 for 10-15$ depending on the deal burned fine at 2x, play in my xbox and dvd players, as well as in 3 macs tested for data dvd..

those are the most reliable ones i have found for a reasonable prive.. i think they are branded optimum or something... check staples.com

Doesn't HP use the DVD+ format? They wouldn't work with a Mac, which uses DVD- format.

If the Apple ones are the best you tried, then you've answered your own question. You get what you pay for.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?
