So last night since I was using my PB alot exploring Panther, I decided to calibrate my battery again, as my battery meter was winding down. It got down to 1% and I was getting no alert that it was low on battery power and about to go to sleep. 0% and still no alert. Finally it just went to sleep.

So I plugged it in and went to bed. Got up and woke up the PB and got a spinning beachball on the Finder and couldn't get any apps to respond. I tried to force quit, but the force quit menu wouldn't come up. So after about 3mins. I just restarted.

Now my battery meter reads 99% and it is still plugged in.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Yes. I'm fully charged but at 96%.

Very weird.

My PB had the same 99%=fully charged phenomenon. Recalibrated, it now goes up to 100% as it should.

The low energy warning in Panther appeared about 5 minutes before it goes to sleep. The warning disappears, so you don't necessarily see it, before it goes dark.
