Is this a white spot forming or is it a dead pixel? I tried using the different pixel check programs but it seems that I can't see a problem with the pixels. The size of the white spot is the size of the light when the caps lock is on. This is only 2 weeks old. Should I be worried? Should I call Apple and ask about it? Man I knew it was too good to be a true. By the way this is a 15 Al 1.25. FREAK! This dot is bothering me even though it is so small. I just feel helpless and I feel kind of stupid because the machine cost like $2600.00. Man this is crap. You think Apple would let me exchange for a new machine or just a crap repair? I wouldn't mind them sending me a 12 inch and giving me credit or somethin like that.

My 15 AlBook is a month old now. About week one I started noticing a bright white spot at about two o'clock. About three times the size of the cap locks key light. Rather annoying. One unique feature is a pixel stuck off in the center of the white spot that I also did not notice on day one and I did run Pixel Check. Now I hardly notice it at all because larger white areas have appeared in the same areas that others have noted here. I am deferring sending it back until Apple has had a chance to solve the problem. Many are getting replacement screens with the same issue.
