I've had my new PB 15" 1.25ghz up(10.2 preloaded) and "running" for an hour now - and the damn thing has already crashed more times than my Yosemite G3 which it's replacing. In fact, this is my 3rd attempt at posting this message. Hoefully I can get through it before I'm forced to resart...

Here's what's going on:

Trying to rip CD's into my iTunes library in AAC format has crashed the system on 2 out of 3 cds - and this is a brand new, scratch free 5 day old disc.

Running Explorer or Safari will just randomly crash on me, as witnessed by my three attempts to post this damn message.

And on top of that, I can't find a 24hour Apple support phone number anywhere.

Help! Anyone got any ideas?

I was having problems like that, and it ended up being a bad hard drive.

I sent it in a week ago for repair, and still don't have it back.

If you have an Apple Store nearby, take it there and they will see if it needs to be sent in. If it does need to be sent in and you can stand to have a bad screen for a while, have everything repaired but the screen. There is a two week wait on screens. Of course you can just ask for a new one too.

Sorry I don't know a 24 hour number for Apple Support.
