Just a quick poll to see how the new iBook G4 models are selling. Also a call out to anyone to post pictures of their new 12" or 14" iBook G4s. I'm thinking of getting a 14" myself, adding internal Bluetooth and a wireless Apple mouse. I would really prefer the smaller 12" iBook but I need (well, want) the 1 Ghz processor. Oh, why can't they at least offer 1 Ghz as a BTO option? Then they wouldn't have to worry about canabalizing 12" PowerBook sales...

If the 12" iBook was 600Mhz, I would again go out and buy the 12".

When you say you "need", -> You won't notice the 200Mhz difference in MANY apps you are gonna use. Personally, I wouldn't pay thet $200-$300 difference.

Also, when you are selling your iBook in the future, there is a much bigger market for the 12" ! Consider that..

I maxed out the ram. And I bet, This machine 12" 800 with 640 RAM will beat the 14" 933 Mhz 256 Ram in MANY MANY tasks!

I recommend not to pay that $200 - $300 , rather go out and buy the 512 MB ram, for around $124 -- Thats what I paid to Crucial for G4 PC2100 Ram (Powerbook) and UPS Blue URGENT 2nd Day.
