I couldn't really justify it as Jaguar works absolutely fine for me, but despite my moaning about upgrading again, I dusted off my student discount and bought a copy of Panther yesterday as an early birthday present to myself...

I didn't expect much.

How wrong I was, this thing is slick, slick, slick...!

Can't really put my finger on why it feels so much better than Jaguar, but it definitely does.

Battery life is waayyy up, it is solid as can be, expose (despite my reservations) is a very useful tool, and things are smooth as syrup despite only 256 MB RAM at the moment...

Way to go Apple...! (I just can't help feeling though that I shouldn't have had to buy OS X yet again to get a mature version of X... Oh Well, done it now !)

Peace,

Marc
