I just can't believe what I'm holding in my hands.

Yes it's a normal 15" powerbook but it's a creation from above in my view.

Open the box, 15 mins later the OS is working.

Checking for white spot...not one found up to now.(touch wood)

Decided to try and connect to the Internet. So I unpugged the RJ45 from the PC desktop. I was going to look for my Internet provider instalation CD for windows...no,no!

I just plugged the RJ45 in the ethernet and I was on! That would be impossible on a PC.

I'm a switcher, on a cloud, saying to myself:
"What in hell I was thinking for the last 10 years on a PC!!"

Congratulations! May your PB stay free of the dreaded white spot disease that my PB is currently suffering.

Enjoy!

Yes the Mac is a pretty cool thing ... I just recently switched too. On the evening that I was transferring stuff across, I had my old Thinkpad R32 running WinXP, desktop PC also running WinXP and my PB15".

I was so amazed on how much easier and faster I got my Mac connected to the PC than the Thinkpad (which as stated earlier is running XP too)!

Hehehe, welcome to the light side my friend. ^_^ I also thought of the same thing when I switched.

Same here! I took a leap of faith and landed in Nirvana..I got my 12" PB yesterday (Be sure to ask your local retailers if they have it..some stores I ran across had them, but wouldnt display them until the Rev. A ones were sold..). I havent hardly slept since yesterday..just learning the OS is joy instead of pain. I recomend a book, since you just switched, by David Pogue, called Switching to the Mac. It is full of stuff the long time Mac users are now chuckling at that I dont know..lol.

Yeah, macs take some of the 'mystery' and 'incantations' away from the user. In my mind, this is just fine. I just want to get my job done.

Macs are also fun, too!
