Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about the new iBook G4 14" as a switch from my 667 15" Tibook. Everything is better except for the fact that Apple only lists video mirroring as a capability. My laptop is only off dual monitors in class for notes or on a plane, so I really really enjoy the screen real estate.

Does anyone know if the iBook G4 can run dual monitors?

Thanks a lot,
Mac

Yes, you can run dual monitors, but not out of the box. Search for 'spanning' and you can find instructions to enable this feature.

Keep the rubber side down!

Thanks d4nth3m4n, I posted a separate thread because no one had asked about it with the new G4 iBooks. Everyone knows the G3 iBooks could be hacked for it, but no one here had yet tested it on the G4, so I figured why not get the most up to date info.

Thanks again.
