I use the 4 X 5 Wacom Intuos (sp?) to assist in lecture ... drawing graphs, etc. to teach Economics ...

Inkwell, maybe someday ... but for now I find it faster to type.

Indispensable for drawing though.

I am using the wacom intuos, and it is GREAT!
Cannot recommend it enough.
Ink....no, does not work for me...was more of a fun thing to try, but not very useful.

I also have the 4x5 Wacom and it is very nice. It takes some getting used to at first, but once you get there you'll find that you hate having to use a mouse.

I haven't played with Ink enough to know if the learning curve on that is the same as with just getting comfortable with the tablet. At this point, I cannot imagine it being faster than typing for me.

I use a Graphire2 on my TiBook 500Mhz. I use it as my primary mouse and switch to use the pen as a mouse sometimes to limit fatigue. It's pretty easy to port around and is good to use for notes when a lot of diagramming is required.
