So i bought applecare when I got my 15 inch powerbook ( couldnt be happier with it yet... if it doesnt get any whitespots!) and opened the applecare and I dont see any slip with a registration number or anything? I just see a CD, fact book, helpful hints and terms and conditions? How do i register this then?

I picked up my AppleCare when I ordered my laptop. There is a part number M8853LL/A with a couple bar codes on the right side of the bottom flap of the box (white box with red top/sides/bottom) with additional large opening front cover.
On the left side of the bottom flap of the box is a separate white label with a unique Serial # (with bar code).
Inside the box were the following:
1. Enrollment Card (with the same serial # label)
2. Fact Sheet
3. Quick Reference Guide
4. Terms and Conditions
5. TechTool Deluxe CD (with the same serial # label)
Where did you purchase your AppleCare?
(Sounds like it is time to return it for an exchange and/or refund.)

If you purchased at Apple Store (a physical retail store), just take the box back to them and show them that there is no serial number on the various items...
If you purchased at the other Apple Store (the on-line version), then you probably need to call Apple and ask them what they would like you to do.

There should be a "seria" number next to the part number like every other Apple product you have bought. If its not there, someone may have sold you a demo box.
