i know that with the PBs you can hot swap batteries if you put the comp to sleep, but havent heard anything about the ibooks. has anyone tried to hot swap batteries? i only have one battery , otherwise id give it a whirl myself.
The iBooks do not have an internal battery to allow swapping while in sleep. If you have the AC adapter connected and plugged into an electrical outlet, you can then swap batteries (be the iBook asleep or awake).
