here i am with the powerbook
my m-audio TRANSIT just arrived
a pure digital signal
using itunes to bus the sound to my home theater system
pure
digital
madness

thanks to you folks who helped me find this great product

I just received my m-audio Sonica Theater and am also very impressed with the product. Sadly, I don't have my Powerbook yet (I will very soon be buying my first ever Mac, a 17" PB) but I tested it out on my wife's iBook and it was fantastic.
