Hi,

If I need my screen fixed due to the white spots, can I trust the local service depot, or is it safer to have Apple do it themselves?

The service depot is Simply Computing in Vancouver. I ask because the people there have seemed rude and apathetic, and I'm wondering whether they'll care enough to do a proper job.

Also, Apple Canada is telling me there will be a waiting period of "indeterminate length" because the display parts are unavailable. Since people seem to be gettng new screens right and left in the US, this surprised me.

Thanks!

Ah, nevermind - apparently in Canada, there is no official Apple repair facility to send it into.
