Movie Folder and Column View Buzzing Sound

I am running a TiBook 800 and when I select my 'Movies' folder in my user dir, and the Quicktime prevew activates, I get a constant 'buzzing' sound. It reminds me of the HTTPS frying sound that I got under Jaguar. Does anyone else experience this under Panther?
