I would need some help to locate a serious problem with my Ti550. This is what happens nowadays:
1. It is very difficult to start, sometimes when the powerbutton is pressed, power comes to the keyboard and caps lock can be pressed and the button lits up, funnyly the the num lock-button is lit if the key to the left of it is pressed, not as norammly when num-lock is pressed.
2. Sometimes it starts up just fine, and one can do anything for around 30-40 seconds, then everything freezes
3. It is possible to start up as a firewire disk, then one can install new software from an other computer and use it as a firewire disk very well.
There is nothing wrong with the harddrive itself, and very unlikely anything wrong with the ram-memory, tried different ones in differet places (up or down).
Is this a problem with the motherboard, or can it be any other problem?
