I recently got back my 15" 1.25 from repair for the second time...arg!! Finally they seemed to have fixed everything [knock on wood]. I purchased a 512mg RAM chip from OWC. Unlike the chip I had previously purchased from 18004memory, it has not caused kernel panics or any problems during 90% of operation of the computer. However, I have noticed that anytime I try to play a game (demos like unreal, ghost recon, nascar...etc) the computer freezes during the first few minutes of game play and the screen turns black, forcing me to restart. I am running OS 10.3. I am wondering if people think the freezes are likely from the RAM chip or maybe something else is at fault.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Have you tried removing the new module and play the games with out the module?
