My father told me yesterday that the paint of his TiBook (rev A) is chiping away and he was wondering if anything could be done.

I remember seeing in the web this Ti Paint Kit

Has anyone used this? If so how good is it? Or can anyone think of other solutions?

If it is still under warranty Apple has it covered. Even a standard 1 year warranty.

I had the first TiBook 400, sold it and got a Ti/500. Both had the paint problems. Very ugly. Have you tried one of the places online that sells the paint for the books? I never tried it, but it's certainly a possible solution for you. If its under warrenty and your father can do without it for several weeks, send it in and get it fixed.
