Since this is my 1st laptop, and I haven't had luck on the Apple support site, here goes:

Got my powerbook, and I have an Apple 17" CRT from my G3. I know how to connect the monitor to the PB (I'm not THAT stupid), but I have a couple of questions.

1) Can you still use multiple monitors as one big monitor, or will the CRT just mirror what's on my PB LCD?

2) If so, would it be possible to set up iTunes visualizer to run full screen on the CRT while I continue to work on the PB screen?

You can mirror or have an extended desktop. So setup extended desktop, put the iTunes window on the second screen and set the visuals going.
