Anyone have any idea when Apple will be shipping new 15" PBs with the rumored White Spot fix installed - or when rev.b can be expected?

My guess is 2 or 3 days. I remember reading somewhere that Apple had the new 1.4ghz G5 Powerbooks already in the pipeline, but were waiting until they sold all of their current stock. If you really want to know, you should give Apple a call. If you find anything out, let us all know. There are people on this board that I have been fighting with over the fact that they constantly deny that the new PBs are only days away, and I want them to eat their wordz.

This is pure sarcasm, correct? G5 Powerbooks already in the pipeline?

I highly doubt that G5 PowerBooks are "already in the pipeline." Also, where did you read this?

The writing is on the wall. Am I the only one who can see it? I stand by my prediction. 2 or 3 days and we will see new G5 Powderbooks!

If 1000 days to man is equal to 1 day to Steve Jobs then yes, we are just days away from the PowerBook G5.

I think that "as the earth was created in 6 days..." we will see the G5 PB in a few days!
Probably by summer 2004 or the elections next year or ......

There is no way a Powerbook G5 is coming out soon, it is way too early. It would be nice, but Apple usually waits for quite a while before it puts a desktop chip in one of its laptops.
