i have a PB 2000 (pismo) with it's original battery. for a while, i've noticed the life of the battery continually decreasing, but i was fine with it. it always charged to "100%" according to the menu bar in os x, and all four lights on the battery were lit up at the end of charge. since installing 10.3 "jaguar", though, the battery will only charge to 49% according to the menu bar, and only two lights on the battery light up. anyone have any suggestions? i was thinking of getting a new battery from newertech (they have a 6600 a/hr battery i think for pismo) but i'm not sure if something is wrong with the pb internally. if so, then i'm wasting my money on a new battery and should be looking at a new PB. anyway, any suggestions would be great.

thanks
