Hi,

I'm trying to set up my ti PowerBook 1Ghz on a shelf closed with an external LCD, keyboard and mouse hooked up.

I can't seem to get the thing to turn on. I've even tried an old iMac keyboard that has the ON button on the keyboard.

If heat is a concern, I can set up a little fan to blow on it.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to get this thing to come on?

Make sure you are plugged into AC power.

Turn on the Powerbook from the normal power button. After it has booted up, close the lid and let it go to sleep. Unplug and then plug your USB mouse or keyboard.

The computer should wake up and be using only the external LCD.
