For any of you who plan to get the new 17"Powerbook 1.33Ghz I have some helpful info for you.
I just updated to the newer 1.33Ghz model from the older 17" 1Ghz and within a very short time I noticed that Apple has addressed a few of the issues and complaints that were voiced upon the older 1Ghz model.
If you had doubts about purchasing based on previous threads of minor complaints then this should be helpful and give you an incentive to buy.

Besides the obvious processor speed bump and the USB 2.0 and 2x Superdrive the newer 1.33Ghz no longer makes clicking noises from the hard disc drive.
The latch pops the screen open very smoothly now, unlike the 1Ghz model, it felt like the screen was going to break while trying to open the latch.
No more sizzling noises regardless which setting the power management is set to.
When using the synthesized voice to read text there's no more break up in the sound so the utility called "keep sound awake" is no longer needed.
The battery always reads 4hrs 15min on a full charge and this is before Panther was installed. My previous 1Ghz never got more than 2.5-3hrs on full charge after several calibrations.
The biggest complaint Apple addressed (which I noticed on the new 12" and 17") is the little feet at the bottom of the computer are next to impossible to come off.
I went to a nearby Apple retailer and tried very hard to peel, scrape and even slide the computer on the table and the little feet would not budge. Couldn't get them to come off at all! I tried with lots of effort and not one fell off either machine. Of course I did this when no one was looking.
Just wanted to give some food for thought for new switchers and upgraders, Apple does listen to their customer base but unfortunately they show their actions on the new revisons.
Hope this helps
