Hi,

I just converted to mac so my qeustions will be pretty sad.

When I dowload little this like surestream-2.ram or sd21.sit they go and sit on my desktop.

Actually, everything seems to automatically download to my desktop. Should I create folders for this or can I delete it.

if you are downloading files using safari, go the safari menu and select "preferences..." click on "general" and set any folder you like for downloads.

It's perfectly OK to leave files on the Desktop as long as you don't mind the clutter. The Desktop is really just a folder in your Home, and any files there can be moved to wherever you like.
