I'm on my second RevB 12" after my fist one had a badly twisted case.

I've had it for a few days now and things were going well. Last night I was listening to iTunes and doing some work, closed it up before going to bed and it went to sleep fine.
Got into work this morning and opened it to find everything was frozen, couldn't move the curser or do anything.
After a min the screen then went black and still nothing worked I could not even reset with the power button, so resorted to removing the battery but that didn't do anything for it.

So now I have a PowerBook that I can not get to turn on. I've tried the mains plugged in too, but still can't get it to turn on

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions please.

Thanks,
Baldrick

- Going to phone apple care later on when I can do it free as I think it may be a long call.

It's probably the power manager.

Apple will tell you how to reset this.

I found out how to do the Power Management reset but that has not done anything for me.
Still nothing happens when you press the power button.

Any other ideas? Other than sending it back to apple and loosing all my data?

Does anything at all happen when you hit the power button? Any noise at all?

I would be inclined to say that you have to take it to an apple authorized repair center or send it in for repair, sorry.

No nothing at all when I hit the power button no noise, nothing.

It is looking like I may just have to send it to apple to be repaired.
Just hope that it comes back in one piece! From what some people have been posting here they seam to come back worse off than when they went!
