Hi Guys,

Just ordered a 933 ibook 14" after years on PCs - can't wait to get started in mac world. Does the ibook come with some tutorials or can anyone recommend good software or books to get me up to speed on the machine? I realise just playing with it long haul flights is going to help me!!

It has fair online help. And an excellent book for Mac OS X (the operating system) is Mac OS X: The Missing Manual. Also, be sure to check out Exposé.
Trainiable is to cat as ability to live without food is to human.

Just like you I ordered the same model you did, and just like I was new to the Mac. It's been about a weak since I've had it, and I can say that I've gotten used to the Mac OSX, I'm not saying that I'm expert just yet and there are somethings I still need to learn. But I can say it's easier than learning how to use a Windows machine.

Check out Apple's OS X overview pages, many features are explained there.

Learn how to use the preinstalled iApps, they are easy to use. If you learn how to use them, it's easier to learn other apps as well.

If you want third party apps, go to Versiontracker and Apple's OS X software pages.
