I'm about to Apple store order my 12" iBook - and though the 1GB RAM is tempting I wonder if anyone's got it. And if so, how is it running?

Otherwise I'm tempted to just max out at Apple's RAM limit.

Thanks in advance.

i been wondering if the ibook would handle pc2700 ram.. that would be a chaper solution to the 1GB modules. From what i've read so far, it seems to be okay, but i don't know if it is been tested =/

2x ram for 4x price is a bit steep for me. Was very tempted, but 'cided not to give into the dark side (Luke... you need more ram luke). Decided to get memory from Crucial instead. 1gig for iBook from Transintl = $450. 512meg for iBook + 2x 512meg for G5 from Crucial = $300.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
