As I've mentioned previously, my 12" went back to Apple to get a ripple fixed, and it also had 3 dodgy pixels. I got it back and it has a perfect screen now, no ripple and all pixels are perfect.

BUT the top left corner of the aluminium casing is coming away slightly and when you close it back up it sticks for a while and then comes away again. You can see something sticky in there so should I just put a tiny bit of glue in there and see what happens? My worry is that if it has to go back to Apple again I'll have voided my warranty. What do you think?

can you explain the ripple you had ? My 12 does the same thing, i'm just not sure if apple will replace the screen for this or not...btw, you have the nicest rev a 12 i've seen...most of them have the grey strip separating from the bottom case. Personally, I'd let apple know about the lid before doing anything yourself.. that might be able to be fixed at the store itself.

Thanks
cs
-How pumped would you be driving home from work, knowing someplace in your house there's a monkey you're gonna battle?

I'm in the UK so we have no stores ;(

Anyway I don't want to send it away again as it's now perfect other than this. And yes, get your ripple sorted as it could get worse. I got a whole new screen with no dead pixels

Basically when I touched the screen casing even *slightly* the top left hand corner of the screen would ripple/shimmy.

I'd try a little bit of superglue. Just tiny little dabs.
