So i'm driving to Florida with my family (From Toronto, Canada)

That's a really long drive - I'll need my ibook to get me through it.

Unfortunately, I can only get through 1 movie with my 'amazing' (note sarcasm) ibook battery.

Is there such thing as an ibook (or powerbook) car adaptor - for the cigarette lighter.

Any info may save my sanity on a very long drive

just pick up a $25 75watt power inverter. Make sure though that the apple power adapters are the correct wattage for the inverter.

Apple sells this adapter at their store. A little cheaper here if you're ordering online.

Yup the Kensington Universal Car/Air Adapter for Apple is what I'm planning on getting too.

Just go to Canadian Tire and get a universal adaptor... I have one, it's less than CAD$20... and it's really useful
