Apologies for linking to another forum, but this sounds interesting.

The end of the road with Motorola has been reached, at least when it comes time for Apple to revamp its iBook line of consumer portables. The chip designer has failed to produce any process spec PowerPC 7457 G4s in commercial volumes required to propel Apple's portable and iMac computers to the next level.
There's more here.
Scooters are more fun than computers and only slightly more frustrating

That would be cool, it would be good to get away from Moto. My only question would be what would they call it? They can go and call it a G3 after making a fuss about going G4(Well Apple didn't but we sure did)and I don't think they can really call it a G4, because it's not. Perhaps a new mobile line?
