I have a 12" PB. Is there a limit regarding the storage on an external FW HD? I remember reading that there was a limit that the PB would recognize of 120GB. I can't remember if this was related to Panther, or a general problem.

it is dependent on the external case ... and probably, more specifically, the firmware version ...

vancenase is correct. The limitation was based on firmware limitation in some of the older firewire bridges.
