i have a logitech wireless mouse that i use with my 15" albook, and when i close the pb to sleep, it will wake up when the external mouse moves. should it do this? and is there a way to stop this aside from unplugging the mouse?

If the mouse is bluetooth there is a preference that you can uncheck in bluetooth prferences. If it is simply wireless I honestly can't say, but you should hunt and peck through the preferences panes.

Hmm you're lucky. My 12" PB only wakes up when I tap my keyboard, but does nothing when I move the mouse that is attached to that keyboard, all USB. Can't find a setting anywhere that would do it.

it's a usb wireless. and sometimes mine does the same thing (not wake up w/ mouse mvt.) it's really quirky. actually, even w/o the ext mouse it will sometimes wake w/ trackpad movement, and sometimes it won't. not sure why. i've just gotten into the habit of hitting the power button. but the ext mouse issue is annoying when using battery, for obvious reasons. hmm.
