It's 2:46am, I've ben up for half an hour already because I can't sleep. Ofcourse, first thing I do is retreat to my office and my shiny new 12" PB. Lovely. I decide maybe I'll do some work (side job) on the PC; turn it on, good god what's that racket. I swear it sounds like all the vaccum cleaners of the world have converged on my small private comfy space. Can't abide by it, PC gets shut off.
Has anyone else gone through the same thing after getting their first PowerBook? Silence is golden. I don't know how I'll be able to comfortably use my PC again, short of replacing all of the fans or getting a new enclosure.
Wish I could sleep.
