My iBook CDRom drive kept on giving me errors during installation. I think its dying (just over a year, my iBook's a 700 mHz dual USB).

I have a USB 1.0 external CDRom drive, which Jaguar recognizes. I can start installation with the Panther disc, but on reboot, the iBook does not read the USB drive to continue the installation. Any workaround for this? I tried holding down C during reboot, but does not work.

Thanks

Just realized I have mistakenly posted the above thread in the Powerbook forum. Should be in iBook. My apologies.
