Just for the record, I just did a search and didn't find this specific issue. I am running Panther on a new 12" PB. I have discovered the following just this morning: when I am running on the battery, my energy saver settings don't seem to work right. I have set it to autmoatic. According to the energy saver display, automatic means put the computer to sleep after 5 minutes, and the "put display to sleep" option is unchecked. However, only my display goes to sleep, after a dim period! I know the machine never goes to sleep because a) the white light is not pulsing and b) I am not getting a password request when I bring it back by moving the mouse, as I do when I wake it from sleep when it's closed and plugged in. Help!
