Well i am posting this with my new Ibook g4 933 I just got from compusa. So far so good, the screen has no dead pixels, every thing is running great. This is my first Mac and will be my only computer as soon i give my windows desktop to my friend.
You can't fix stupid!

You won't miss it at all, if you have a gaming station like a PS2... that's all windows is good for.

Congrats and welcome, I think you will find that owning a Mac comes with a very agreeable community (with some exceptions of course) Hope to see you post here often, always fun, just don't let ca$h get to you, it's all in good fun.

I'm almost there, myself.
The last Mac I had was a Rev B iMac - had to give her up for adoption when I lost my job a few years back
I'm now only a few paychecks away from my own iBook. Can't wait to be back on my "home turf"
I'm on Linux now, but I miss the Mac OS X supermodel beauty outside with the geek inside...being able to pop open a terminal window and ftp a PNG I just created in Photoshop to my web site
