Does anyone use this hack regularly?

i just installed it onto my iBook, and it works great, but i am not sure about the reliability issues.

i've read on the Span Doctor board that G3's have problems with the logic boards. does this apply to the G4, will my logic board go too if i use this hack extensively?

how do i remove the hack if i decide that i don't want it?
