Looked in system profiler, and did not see anything there that would tell me. But then again, I don't really know what I'm looking for. I have read discussions that talk about Rev. A, etc. but don't know hoe to tell what I just got. Thanks in advance!

It was never mentioned which Powerbook she has so I don't know how you could give her the megahertz numbers. Those numbers could apply to the 12"PB or even the older Titanium and if she has the new 15" there's no Rev B yet and if it's the 17" those megahertz numbers are wrong.
So to the original poster please post which Powerbook you have in question along with the said megahertz or gigahertz number and L2 cache number in the Apple System Profiler so you can get the correct answer posted for you question.

You are correct of course. I had a brainfart - thought this was the 12" PowerBook forums for a second.

Oops! I was bad - did not elaborate! I have a new Aluminum 12" PB with superdrive, 1 gig. Can't tell about the L2, not at the mac right now. Does this help, though? Thanks again!

LOL. That's funny, sometimes I too forget that this forum isn't detailed and individualized for each product like the Apple forums.

Yes, that helped, you have Rev B as indicated earlier from the other poster with fantastic ESP. And your cache size should read 512k L2. Nice machine, have fun with it.

Thanks! Have only had it 5 days, and I'm in love! I switched to mac from pc 1 1/2 years ago with a G3 700 iBook, and loved it! But gotta keep up with the tech stuff, so Santa brought the new one - I call it my Baby 'Book! Now to sell the iBook! Thanks again!
