Hi everyone, I was hoping someone might help me in answering this monitor spanning question. I currently have a 500mhz ibook and wish to upgrade...I'm looking at either the 12 or 15 in PB. I like the compact size of the 12 inch but need desktop space for apps like final cut express. I know PBs can do extended desktop with regular monitors...but i was wondering if this is possible with an ibook - just to use the display. If possible I might opt to keep my ibook instead of selling it. Thanks a lot for the help!

There is no video input on the iBook, so no. You can't do this. If you need to do this, another real display is necessary.
