I have been waiting for a couple of months to upgrade my ram and since I have always bought crucial ram in the UK I have been waiting for them to ship 1 gig chips. Well they are shipping them now and they are £370. I was expecting probably around double the price for a 1/2 gig which is only £82 .
Is this normal and is there any chance of the price dropping to around £200 in the coming months?

Not likely, not that fast.

I had just bought 2 512 DIMMS yesterday off them infact and while it is annoying i did know beforehand that the price would be similar to the PC2100 prices and those GB DIMMS have been out longer and if you will notice, there hasn't been that much of a price drop.

Just wait like i am going to do.
