I thought I would run DiskWarrior on my Powerbook hardrive. I booted from a 10.2.6 volume on my PowerMac. I mounted the PowerBook drive on the PowerMac via fireWire target disk mode. The disk repair seems to go normally. It reports some minor errors but if I run the utility a second time the same errors are present. The volume on the PowerBook doen't seem to accept the rewrite but DiskWarrior reports the volume as repaired. Any thoughts? 10.3.1 is installed on the PowerBook.

They may take affect at restart? Unmount the PB then remount it, see if that helps. Maybe do disk utility on it first then DW. Just a guess

At home and in my office the main problem we have with HD in X is the B-tree. All the time. Why is the B-tree being screwed? Is it just how X does things?
