Hi -

I have a stubborn CD in my slot loading drive that refuses to be ejected. It's a blank CD-R - I started to burn it, but realized I was burning the wrong thing, so cancelled. It's not showing up on my Desktop or in the Finder, and hitting the eject key or the eject button in iTunes doesn't do anything. On previous Macs I've owned, there was a button on the CD drive to force eject in situations like this, but on the Powerbook doesn't seem to have any such a thing. I'm at a loss - how do I get this disk out of my drive?

Restart holding down your mouse.

Not sure if it is in Jaguar or not, but if you have Panther, go to help, and look up "ejecting a disc when all else fails". Under here it gives you some more ways to forcibly eject, including the aforementioned trackpad button during restart.
