Hello Everyone,
I'm on a brand new (purchased a week ago) 12" Aluminum Powerbook, combo drive, 1ghz, 768 mgs ddr ram, 32 ddr video, bluetooth.

I started by enabling Bluetooth (in the menu bar, top right on the finder) It was fine, I just left it on "bluetooth on, discoverable"

About a day later I started having problems, every say, 40-120 minutes, randomly, i get tons and tons of windows saying "internet connect, cannot connect to...". Standard warning box. Whenever I click OK or Cancel, another one pops up. I have to shut down, or be very patient clicking until this stops.

The problem stops when bluetooth is disabled.

I checked all my settings, they are all set up in a fashion that shouldn't give me this grief all the time. Looked around my house, I have no blue tooth devices.

What is going on? I would like to use bluetooth occasionally with friend's computers and their electroniccs, but I just get constant errors!?!

Your machine is trying to connect to the internet via Bluetooth.

Open the System Preferences' Network pane, select "Show Network Configurations" and make sure that "Bluetooth" is unchecked.

This will NOT switch off Bluetooth, but it WILL disable internet connections via Bluetooth.

Try that and see if it solves your problem.
