Im absolutely SICK of how a simple USB2 card reader cant be properly recognized, or how my images become corrupted after connecting them to the powerbook. This is clearly a driver issue on Apples part. I though macs were supposed to be a photographers dream, more lke a nightmare when your images become corrupt or you cant even get them off the cf card and onto the computer.

I use a PC Card reader, attainable for less than $10.00 at Amazon--for a brand name; I believe it's faster too.

I doubt that it is faster than usb2.0 glad you arent havint problems
