The original question was answered, but now I have another question. Is a wireless bluetooth keyboard capable of waking the Powerbook from sleep if an external monitor is hooked up, or does it have to be a usb keyboard?

Thanks!
Chris

Hi Chris, see my previous post about hooking up a 12" to my Formac TFT - basically you have to close the lid of your PB and it will recognise it if you want a higher resolution than your PB.

You can change your mirror/spanning option in the Display system pref, but an easier way is to just hit F7, which should swap between the two modes.
Also, I haven't tried it myself, but the PB can drive the external monitor at much higher res, but only in spanning (not mirror) mode. In mirror, it is limited to the lowest of the two displays, (in this case the PB's.
