Hey All -

I have a Rev. A 17" Powerbook which I love, but I have noticed lately that when I shut the lid it takes sometimes close to a minute for it to fall asleep, whereas it used to take no more than a few seconds. Any idea why this could be??

Thanks for any ideas...

Most likely you have a process that is tidying itself up. I had the same problem when I installed faxStuff about a year ago.

Start thinking about what you have installed since this problem occurred. You may also be able to track it done via the process viewer.

To tail onto this, check things that require network/internet connections. For me, I now always sign off Adium (AIM) before sleeping, otherwise it takes a minute to get itself asleep.
