Quick question

Can you reset the printer ink levels? I have an HP 5550. I refilled the ink cartridges when they got low, however, the utility still shows the previous ink levels.

Now my black cartridge is down to 0 but I know it is full of ink. I can't print anything! I don't want to buy another cartridge, that's why I'm refilling in the first place.

Any thoughts???

Yep. Post in the Peripherals forum for printer questions.

(BTW, it's probably the chip in the cartridge telling the printer they're still empty. I'm not too familiar with HP's cartridge refilling protections, but I know that's what Epson does.)
