Hi all. I have a Rev. A 12-inch Powerbook, and I was wondering if it's cool to run Folding@Home on it. As soon as I start up the app, the fan comes on immediately and never goes off until I quit the app. After using Macs for about 5 yrs. now, I'm just not used to hearing a fan. It's probably no big thing, just wanted to check.

Thanks.

Anything that runs your CPU at full is going to make the fan come on. That's normal. I've got fah going on my Tibook right now and it's fine.
