Who here thinks the next iBook revision, due within 4-6 months, will include the 750vx IBM cpu? I am hoping Apple gets away from Motorola completely. Of course the PowerBooks will need to be updated first...but that is a different thread!

Well, that's one thing to hope for, since the PowerPC 750VX should have enough horsepower to blast the current PowerPC G4 chips used by the iBook G4s. And since the PowerPC 750VX has the same implementation of Altivec, then Apple can still retain the iBook G4 name.

I might just sell my iBook G4 (gasp!) for one if the price is right.
