Ok, i have no problem with my ibook until i try a play neverwinter nights. I have a ibook g4 933 with 640 ram. In the game i have set all graphics down as far as they go.

And this is what i get after 5 to 30 min of playing.

You might have better luck posting in the games forum, though a quick search there doesn't immediately yield similar problems. If the details are all turned down, are the effects turned off as well? Does the screen immediately go to full bars, or does it stream into it? Have you reinstalled the game, all that stuff?

Sounds like a video card driver kinda thing. Have you tried emailing them folks that made the game? That's definitely more than just a framerate issue.

I regularly play Neverwinter Nights on my iBook G4/800/256. I have considerably lower specs compated to your iBook (slower processor, less RAM), but I'm able to play (though choppy) at medium settings.

I've turned down all fancy graphics effects EXCEPT for the resolution -- where I keep it at 1024x768 because the 800x00 resolution is scaled (too ugly and blurred for my taste).

I've played Neverwinter Nights for long hours (2-3 on average) but only encountered the problems you mentioned during certain times: when I switch resolutions (1024x768 to 800x600 and vice-versa when experimenting) or when cutscenes/video transitions occur. But generally speaking, I haven't had major problems with it (except for speed).

What version is your client running at right now? I've upgraded to NWN 1.61 with the SoU and HotU expansion packs. I'm not sure if that makes a difference, though.
