Besides CCC, does anyone here knows of another way, or another app, that would allow me to quickly synchronize my powerbook hard drive with my iMac's.

I just spent 8 hours installing apps, prefs, transfering address books, importing old AOL emails into mail, and more, on my new iMac, and I'd rather not spend another 8 hours doing the same thing on my new Powerbook.

Any ideas?

.Mac is your friend. You can use iSync for Addressbook and for Safari bookmarks and iCal stuff. then use Apple's Backup to get prefs and stuff for all the other Apps. There is an option in Backup to backup all prefs and keychains. Just restore from the Backup, reboot and all will be good

Not a problem People question the need for .Mac just doing a reformat and re-install and having it replace your settings the way you had it is worth the 99 bucks you pay for .Mac.
